Muzuri Kurds : ウィキペディア英語版 | Muzuri Kurds Muzuri (مزوري, also Missuri or Musri, Missouri, and other similar spellings), is name of a Kurdish group, inhabiting the northernmost areas of Iraqi Kurdistan. It is located to the west of Margavar (in west of lake Urmia) and is close to the Zebari and Barzani areas. Mezuri are a subtribe of the Barzani tribe. Mezuri Kurds are divided by the Sorani Mezuri tribe witch is in the district of Arbil and the Bahdini tribe witch is in the district of Duhok. The most of the villages in the area of Duhok are from the Mezuri tribe. Fascinating is that the Mezuri tribe is one of the few tribes who has two dialects (the Sorani and Badini). Mezuris are also known for the amount of martyrs they have. Mezuri Kurds are very nationalistic and most of them have a job in the government. In Assyrian records the region is mentioned as land of Musri or Muzri. ==References==
